Days to Departure

Pffttt friday has come, and i currently am back from singapore. oh and yeah, on sunday i'll be going to bandung. okay, just relax. actually i've passed the moment of panicking to just plain letting go. i'm currently realizing that the time has come to leave my safe zone, and go explore a new area, make new zones. or maybe it's just the fact that i've just come back from the perfect getaway. i mean, after coming back from singapore, i've felt at ease, like everything is somehow gonna be okay. and i really hope it will...

well the trip was great. to tell you the truth, i've been to singapore so many times before. i'm not bragging or anything here, but we used to go here a lot when my brother was studying here. but all we ever did was going over and over again to the same place, eat at the same restaurant, staying at the hotel. but on this trip, my mom and i went everywhere :D we went to the jurong, little india, china town, the universal studios, etc. what make it interesting is the fact that we didn't use taxi going to that places. we walked, used the mrt, and i must say, it really was exhausting. godd at some point i couldn't even feel my hip and legs. but it was worth it. it was fun reading all the maps and deciding what way to go, and it really was an adventurous trip :p

and the best part was: i took some photos with my dad's old camera, and it turned out extremely greatt!! i'm talking super awesome :D . well, it's an analog canon camera my dad used to use back in his college days (yeah, this camera is wayy older than me), and it was stored in my dad's closet until i found it. it's an slr camera and i had great time experimenting with it. it's still in a good condition, and my dad stored it so neatly, there's still some lenses, tripod, and the manual in the bagg. god i love my dad at times like these. a little facts: he used to be the chairman of the photography club on his university, and he can develop films. he's actually cool :B anyway, i took this camera everywhere i went (and that's what made my hip ached), and experimented with tips i found on internet. oh, and the price for developing this film... it's insaneee. it's soo expensive, but i must say, it definitely worth the price!

enough blabbering... it's picture timee:

there's many more, but i'm going to save it for later on.
hands down to my dad, who stores the camera neatly and safely.

oh, and about the things my family and i did over and over again in singapore? not that it didn't make me happy, it was my favorite things to do in singapore. it's just i need something new. and here goes:
1. buy discounted sushi in takashimaya on 9. it's soo cheap you'll grab anything like insane.
2. eat at the takashimaya's food court, and always, always eat something from the padang/chinese restaurant
3. eat at the newton circus food centre
4. shopping at ikea, the happiest place on earth. my version.
5. buy some books at kinokuniya/borders
6. shop shop on clothe stores
and yes, we did all that too. and many more :)

p.s. pfftt i forgot to buy the 1$ ice cream from the ice cream stall around orchard. the price is always 1$, it never changed it frightens me. it's like, it's still 1$ after more than 6 years O-o but anyway, i feel remorse leaving singapore without eating it. i always passed the stroll after i ate like a troll, so yeaah i left my tummy no space for eating ittt. and again, i regret it.

That's What They Say

i'm currently updating from singapore right now... a short getaway before something big changing my life. the start of university life.

if i can make it here, i can make it anywhere.
